These terms and conditions apply to every order placed with Louèn Diamonds. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. We keep things clear and honest.

  • In-stock items come with a 30-day viewing period.
  • Delivered within 5 business days when in stock.
  • 12-month warranty on the jewelry and a lifetime warranty on the diamond.

Products

Our jewelry is crafted from solid 14 karat gold and set with top-quality lab grown diamonds. This is not only our own standard. It is also confirmed by official partners and independent institutions.

  • All diamonds are certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI), a globally recognized independent laboratory.  igi.org
  • Our gold is hallmarked by Waarborg Holland, the official Dutch assay office. waarborg.nl
  • Our factories are affiliated with the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and operate according to high ethical, social, and environmental standards. responsiblejewellery.com
  • With every piece of jewelry, you receive an IGI certificate. The hallmark of Waarborg Holland is also engraved in the jewelry as proof of authenticity and quality.
  • Each product contains at least the stated carat weight of diamonds, and sometimes slightly more.
  • Lab grown diamonds are chemically and optically identical to natural diamonds, but are created without mining or ecological damage.
  • We offer a carefully curated core collection. What you see in the webshop is largely what we have in stock.
  • Product images are created with care. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. Each product is photographed individually. This means the images you see show the exact piece you may receive. We do not use generic images.

Prices

All prices are in euros and include VAT, as well as shipping and return costs.
Our prices are rounded where possible, consistent, and always fair. If you find a product elsewhere at the same price and with the same quality, please let us know. We aim to keep our prices 10% to 20% lower than the cheapest comparable online providers.
We reserve the right to change prices, but for any order the price shown at the time of purchase always applies.

Ordering & Payment

Ordering is easy through our webshop. After placing your order, you will immediately receive a confirmation by email.
You can pay securely via a protected payment environment using the following methods:

  • iDEAL
  • Credit card (Visa and Mastercard)
  • Klarna (pay later)
  • PayPal
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay.

When using Klarna, Klarna’s terms and conditions also apply.

Shipping & delivery

Shipping is always free and fully insured for the entire value via our partner FedEx. You can view FedEx’s shipping terms on their website here.

Once your order is on its way, you will receive a track and trace code. We do everything we can to avoid delays and to meet our promise. If something does go wrong, we will contact you proactively.

Delivery times per product type are as follows.

  • In-stock products are dispatched within 5 business days.
  • Products made especially for you are delivered within 6 weeks after ordering.
  • For pre-orders, a specific delivery time is communicated on the product page, with delivery taking place within 6 weeks after the order period ends.

Right of withdrawal & returns policy

For products from our in-stock collection, you have a 30-day reflection period starting from the day of receipt.

  • Returns are easy and free of charge.
  • Returns are processed via a return form and a FedEx label. Please contact us to request a return. Note that the address of our secure warehouse is different from our office address.
  • For a full return, you will receive a full refund.
  • The product must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging. Please note the label attached to our products. This label must not be removed.

Still unsure? Try the jewelry at home on a soft surface, but do not truly wear it. This way, your right of return remains valid.

For products made especially for you, returns are generally not possible. If you experience an issue, for example with the size, please contact us so we can find a suitable solution.

Warrenty

Because we believe in the quality of our products and are closely involved in the entire production process, we are confident that our jewelry is of excellent quality. Each piece comes with an IGI certificate, and the jewelry is hallmarked by Waarborg Holland, an independent Dutch hallmark of authenticity. We therefore offer a lifetime warranty on the diamonds and a 12-month warranty on the jewelry itself.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by wear and tear, drops, improper use, or chemical exposure. If you experience any issues with a product, please contact us at klantenservice@louendiamonds.com. We are happy to help you find a solution.

Is your jewelry in need of a refresh outside the warranty period? We are glad to advise you on cleaning or polishing. Please contact us for guidance.

Complaints

Satisfied customers who enjoy their jewelry are our priority. If this has not been the case, we will do our utmost to help you. Do you have a complaint? Please let us know via klantenservice@louendiamonds.com. We will respond within two business days at the latest. If we are unable to resolve the matter together, which we truly do not expect, we will look for an appropriate next step.

Responsibility

We are not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the product. Our liability is always limited to the purchase price of the item concerned.

Privacy

We handle your data with care. In our privacy policy and cookie policy, you can read how we protect and use your data.

Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or IT disruptions, it may occur that we are temporarily unable to fulfill our obligations. In such cases, we will always keep you informed and work together to find the best solution.

Applicable law

These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will, if necessary, be submitted to the competent court in Haarlem.
